Mech Suit Can Lift 110 Pounds In Each Hand

future technology

Ever since seeing the giant Gundam being built in Japan, I thought giant mech suits were about to be here. Then reading into it, I only had disappointment, although the Gundam was pretty sweet. Even though I am filled with disappointment, it is good to see new technology being built help aid in our dreams of strong giant robots.

Researchers in San Giuliano Terme, Italy at the Perceptual Robotics Laboratory have made a pretty sweet wearable suit that can lift 110 pound in each arm. Okay, it isn't exactly what I was expecting, but a closer step into future technology advancements.

Their developers say it was made to help out in factories and clear debris, rescue survivors, but we all know they just want a Gundam as badly as the rest of us. It will definitely work great in factories, but this is totally the first step into super mech suits.
