If the zombie apocalypse actually happened would you be ready to fight off zombies? Ready or not here are 10 weapons you shouldn't use during the zombie apocalypse.
1. The Axe
In the movies the survivor always goes for axe for some reason or another. The problem with the axe is if you hit something hard enough it is going to get stuck. So what are you going to do when the axe is lodged in a zombies head and another one is coming at you? Probably run and be out of a weapon, which is why an axe would just slow you down.
If you were in a pinch and only had a nail gun you would probably still be in a pinch. As the Mythbusters showed us how useless it would be and they modded theirs.
3. Flamethrower
In video games the flame thrower does work at doing zombie crowd control, but based off of general zombie killing it would seem almost useless. The flamethrower would just make the zombies toasty and may eventually kill them, but in the meantime you will have a flaming zombie running after you because we all know we have to destroy the brain.
4. Chainsaw
Another iconic zombie killing weapon in video games and movies a like. A chainsaw would be useful for a couple zombie kills, but will run out of gas or jam up from all the flesh it is ripping apart.
5. Hedge Trimmers
Their pointy and sharp, but are you trying to trim the hedges? Just no don't pick these unless you want to die.
6.Guitar
As equally bad as hedge trimmers. What are you going to do seduce the zombie?
7. Baseball bat
What are you trying to do render the zombie unconscious? Zombies don't exactly feel anything, and a swinging a baseball bat against a crowd of zombies has to be terribly exhausting.
8. Shotgun
A shotgun is probably the best on this list as it is powerful and can blow heads off. The reason it is on the list is because if you are caught in a crowd of zombies you can pop off 2 rounds and if you can't reload quick enough your zombie meat.
9. Knife
If you feel like talking out a few zombie eyes or shanking a zombie go ahead and use this. Honestly i think it would be just as effective as using the hedge trimmers. Don't toss the knife though as it would come in handy for cutting up some food you hunted.
10. Your Fist
Unless you got skills like Bruce Lee just don't even bother. Attempting to punch out a bunch of zombie brain will probably just make you end up breaking your hand, and now you are even more useless than your idea of zombie punching.
