Man makes over $70,000 in a week | Lil Dicky

David Byrd AKA Lil Dicky, Young Dick, slim boner, or whatever the hell you want to call him managed to meet his goal of raising $70,000.  The money raised is going towards his legit album project code named Lil Dicky's Kickstarter.  The purpose of the project is to raise money to make a album without any of the record label restriction. He dubs his fans as his record label so that he can keep things real.

So who is Lil Dicky? He is a Jewish kid from the Philly suburbs who come from a good family, even went to college, and even had a stable job (well not anymore). Now most of you guys are reading this and still have no idea who this young man is so watch this video:



After seeing this viral YouTube music video of his I had to do some more digging and see what else he had out there. I did the obvious and clicked on his YouTube Channel name "Lil Dicky", to find some more humorous videos. By watching his videos one gets the idea that he is just another "joke rapper", but then I dug a little deeper and found his website which had his full mix-tape for FREE download.  After giving his mix-tape "So Hard" a thorough listen to, I became an instant fan.

Lil Dicky might get shit for him not being black, hasn't done time, he's white, a Jew (but Drake's a Jew), and whatever other typical rapper stereotype there is. Music in general is something that we can relate to, and us good ol' stoner white boy Jews don't have no one to look up to. What Lil Dicky brings to the game is something we can relate to(and the discovery of Melissa Soria).

So take a look at his Kickstarter videos and maybe join in on the giving as it is almost Christmas.
