Aerogel is the material that is nearly transparent and ghost like, and is the world's lightest solid. Aerogel only weighs three times that of air, and only 1,000 times less dense than glass. It kind of looks like a hologram as it appears to be a projection when in fact it is a real solid. The material is super rare and costs a ton of money per ounce. It is pretty crazy to think that a piece of Aerogel a person's size only weighs as much as a pound, but could support more than half a ton.
