Remember that marble we were talking about in one of our did you know facts? Well here is a closer look at the awesome gadget.
The innovative sphere, sun-tracking glass globe is efficient at concentrating sunlight and moonlight 10,000 times. According to the researchers at Rawlemon it is 35% more efficient than a dual-axis photovolaic design, and this design can rotate 360 degrees.
The system was invented by a Andre Broessel a German architect, who intended to create a solar system that could be put in the walls of buildings. This was to make them act like windows and for energy generation. His innovation has been catching a lot of attention lately for its sleek and simple design (a huge marble), but still one of the better looking solar designs.
