That's right the Doctor has come a knocking on Sherlocks door, okay well not exactly. YouTube user John Smith has made quite the realistic crossover of the two BBC shows which had me convinced from just watching the video. Doctor Who will be making a movie length 50th anniversary Christmas day episode while Sherlock will be resurrected from the dead on New Years day.
As a fan of both Doctor Who and Sherlock, I was quite excited until I read the YouTube videos description where he posted his VFX recreation that is quite impressive and disappointing at the same time. If you were curious to how he made the crossover so realistic here is the behind the scenes video.
Disappointing or not at least we will get to enjoy Doctor Who's Christmas special and the return of Sherlock. Maybe if we are ever lucky enough we will get to see a "WHOLOCK"until then we can only enjoy fan made mash-ups, and you can find many more on Tumblr and Devianart.
