SMH Casual Gamers

xbox scam

By now in 2014 you think people would actually know how to read a ebay posting.  Young Peter Clathworthy fell for one of the oldest ebay tricks in the book. He ended up buying a Xbox One for £450 ($734 USD), but it was actually a picture of the new Xbox One.  The listing  clearly stated that it was a photo, and he knowingly bought the photo and received the photo.

Ebay said that they will return the money to Peter, but i for one think that it is his own fault for not reading it properly. FFS people if the listing says photo, please use common sense, or maybe even ask a friend who is literate to help you before making an online purchase. He Paid for a picture and received a picture, I say it is a fair exchange, and that Peter should learn to read, and ebay shouldn't commend someone for their illiteracy.

Technically this gamer was not conned in anyway unless you count his education.  Peter is a father of a four-year old son, and I feel sorry for the kid and hope he does not end up like his father (a bit harsh but you get it). So casual gamers it is time to rejoice because you will soon get to play your new games online with other gamers that are just as dumb as Peter, which is why I no longer use my Xbox.  I am in no way saying that the I.Q. is higher when gaming on a PC, but at least I am not paying the high prices that people still pay for a Physical copy of the game. It is 2013 (month away from 2014) get with the program america CD's are out a digital copies are in so make the change over and get a PC (not a mac don't be silly).
