The PS4's head start over the Xbox One - Console Wars

Are you ready for one of this years most anticipated new gadget? The beginning of the next-gen console war is finally here with the official release of the PS4, and the Xbox One in a week.  Yes you can say that the Wii U got the first jump, but we all know it is just a just a higher resolution GameCube with remote control screen.  This may be the last system gen that we will be seeing physical copies of games as Steam seems to be showing off that physical copies of game are going to be no longer needed for future gadgets.  In short the PS4 is going to be the best of this generation in casual gaming platforms and they will be stepping into the future with a new outlook.

By looking at the PS4 it has a PC-esque look to it with its fairly big case.  The design seems very sleek and streamline with not being able to see any physical buttons, one to power on the system and the other to eject the hidden Blu-ray drive.

The latest redesign of the Playstation controller is more round and feels a tad bit more comfortable than previous designs. The controller includes some new features such as a built-in gyroscope for some Wii-like control. This latest installment features 8GB of ram and a 500GB hard drive which can store your items purchased from the Playstation store.

I have not personally got to try out this new gen console yet, but will definitely give my opinion of this and Xbox One in a review in the near future.  Until that time comes all I can do is enjoy others posts about their positive experiences about this great next-gen console.
