Smartwatch Debut by Qualcomm

Qualcomm normally a chip manufacturer will debut its future gadget the Toq smartwatch this year on Dec. 2.  Smartwatches will be the next technology craze.  The Toq watch will be an extension of your smartphone as it will sync phone calls, apps, texts all to your wrist.

The Qualcomm Toq is going to be priced at $349, and will be sol on the Qualcomm website.  The smartwatch is estimated to have up to five days of battery life on a single charge and light use, and an estimate of three days with heavy usage.  The best part about this new gadget is that you will not have to plug in you smartwatch in order to charge it, as it will be done wirelessly and all you would have to do is place it in the given pedestal.  The charge can also simultaneously charge your bluetooth stereo headset, and the pedestal doubles as a case for travel.
The Qualcomm Toq is going to be the first step into the future and is already bringing a lot to the game with less.  The Toq didnt go over the top in functionality or try to push it's product with some gimmick. The device is not meant to replace your smartphone, but to aid you to see notifications quicker. So Qualcomm and many other companies are going to release these cool new gadgets and I can not wait for it.
